Scott Johnson is a Managing Director in CoBank’s Digital Infrastructure group, where he leads the Large Corporate and Sponsor Coverage vertical.  He joined CoBank in July 2024 and is focused on expanding and deepening client coverage as well as exploring opportunities to broaden the bank’s product offerings.  Scott has extensive capital markets knowledge and industry experience and has developed meaningful relationships across multiple industries.

Before joining CoBank, Scott was a Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets (“RBC”), where he led the US Communication, Media, Entertainment, and Information Services (“CME”) Corporate Banking team. He joined RBC in July 1996 and held various positions within the Corporate and Investment Bank, including Loan Syndication, Leveraged Finance, Credit Risk Management, and Corporate Banking. He was responsible for the core lending relationships in RBC’s CME industry sectors, totaling over $10 billion in commitments. During his time at RBC, he significantly contributed to building out RBC’s Digital Infrastructure platform and played a pivotal role in hundreds of debt-related financings, raising billions of dollars in capital for companies across the credit spectrum.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master of Business Administration from Clarkson University.
